GHOST BRIGADE

Ghost Brigade is a five-piece metal band from Jyväskylä, Finland, formed in 2005. They have taken elements from melodic death metal, doom metal and progressive metal into their music. Wille Naukkarinen (guitars): “In Ghost Brigade, selling albums is not what it’s about. It’s about the feeling I get when I write a new song, which I only get when I know the song is good enough. The metaphor for that is “the fire”. That explains the title of the album. We are guided by fire.” A quote on their website states (by date of the debut release) “there’s nothing above or below us, no written word wise enough, just notes that carry the silent fire.”

Their album “Guided By Fire”, released in September 2007, consists of dark, intelligent music that hasn’t given up the ghost on being a metal band. Their second album “Isolation Songs”, to be released in August 2009, continues in this line.

For their debut album, Aleksi Munter of Swallow the Sun played keyboards as a session member for the band. Fredrik Nordin of the stoner rock band Dozer also did guest backing vocals on a track for their debut album.

Si cu aceasta postare deschid sezonul de toamna, in care nu mai prezint piese de vara, ci formatii noi pentru mine, care m-au impresionat de la prima piesa... Si acest band Ghost Brigade cu siguranta merita. Dupa cum si zicea un tip la un commet pe youtube:"these guys seriously understant how music works" That's so fuckin true! 

Deci cand gasesc un band, un sound care sa merite pentru colectia mea muzicala, atunci o sa postez aici si poate, de ce nu sa aduc idei noi atunci cand vine vorba de metal!

Chiar daca vara s-a cam dus dracu si se apropie iarna(si asa e bine :)) ) am pregatit aici o piesa, defapt un super summer song, pe care sa il ai la tine in cd player in masina blana in drum spre vama :D

Piesa incepe cu "We thank you people for being around,supporting volbeat with love and hellfire" Deci cred ca deja ati ghicit ca e vorba de trupa Volbeat. Piesa intradevar poate nu este cunoscuta si asta doar din cauza ca este de pe proaspatul album scos Beyon Hell/Above Heaven.

Si acuma sa ii dam drumu cu un pic de info. Asadar trupa Volbeat isi are originea in peninsula si mai anume in Danemarca uite chiar din Copenhaga. Totul a inceput in anul 2001. Deci daca sunteti un fan rockabily sau rock'n roll sau heavy sau daca va place Metallica, Social Distorsion, Elvis Presley sau chiar Johnny Cash atunci recomand sa mai cautati piese Volbeat. Si acuma sa facem cunostinta cu Volbeat si adica, vocalul si chitaristul Michael Poulsen, basistul Anders Kjolholm, chitaristul Thomas Bredahl si tobarul John Larsen.
Numele trupei se inspira dupa numele albumului Vol. Beat ce apartine lui Michael Poulsen former's band Dominus. Vol inseamna volum si Beat inseamna...hmm nu stiu cautati si voi...

Chimaira (pronounced /kaɪˈmɪərə/) is an American heavy metal band from Cleveland, Ohio, formed in 1998. The band is a notable member of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal. Their band name is derived from the word Chimera, a monstrous creature in Greek mythology. They play a style of mainly groove metal,
with some metalcore, industrial metal, and death metal influences. 
 In 2006, the band was released from its contract with Roadrunner Records and eventually signed with Ferret Records for United States distribution. They also struck a deal with Nuclear Blast for international operations. The band was said to be excited about its new deals, and its fourth album Resurrection was released on March 6, 2007. The band feels rejuvenated after its split with Roadrunner and the readmission of Herrick on drums. The only downside of this happy event was that the band decided to call off the Eastpack Antidote tour with Soilwork, Sonic Syndicate and Caliban. Chimaira was replaced by Dark Tranquillity. In 2008, Chimaira joined Brendon Small on the Dethklok tour 2008 as a guest appearance.
Resurrection is the fourth studio album by Chimaira, released on March 6, 2007. Debuting at number 42 on the Billboard 200 charts, Resurrection shipped about 16,000 copies sold in its first week. The album was released in two forms: a regular version, and a limited edition version with different cover artwork and a DVD documentary of the making of the album. Chimaira's first album with Ferret Music since leaving Roadrunner Records, Resurrection features drummer Andols Herrick who rejoined the group.The international edition issued by Nuclear Blast was issued in a digipack along with the DVD documentary. However, the cover artwork was the standard one.
There's also a tin box limited to 500 copies from Nuclear Blast Germany, that includes the album with the DVD, plus six pictures of the band and a numbered authenticity certificate.
